Actually, if I’m not mistaken, this is an Eastern European art form called Pysanka (more commonly known as Ukranian Easter eggs)! My mom (whose name is Sara Jane, no joke) is a Pysanka artist. I actually made a TARDIS egg last year when I was home, but it was so ugly that I didn’t post it. Maybe I’ll ask Sara Jane to decorate an egg for us this spring :-)
